*
Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to questions you may have about Microsoft PhotoDraw™ Upgrade Options below.

What is the difference between the PhotoDraw Technology Guarantee and the special rebate program?
The Technology Guarantee is a standard Microsoft program for those customers who acquired the PhotoDraw 2000 version 1 business graphics program, Office 2000 Premium, or Office 2000 Developer on or after October 1, 1999 (the date that PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2 became available). Customers who qualify can download and complete the Technology Guarantee coupon from the PhotoDraw Web site. Microsoft will send you the upgraded version of PhotoDraw 2000 for the cost of shipping and handling. See the PhotoDraw Technology Guarantee page for more details.

The expiration date printed on the coupon has already passed. What should I do?
We have extended the expiration date from April 15 to May 31, 2000. All PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2 purchases must be made by May 31, and all rebate coupons must be returned and received by Microsoft on or before June 20, 2000. The special rebate program is for those customers who purchased PhotoDraw 2000 version 1, Office 2000 Premium, or Office 2000 Developer between June 1, 1999 and September 30, 1999, and registered that product prior to December 31, 1999. Under such circumstances, Microsoft will refund the purchase price of your copy of PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2.

I sent in my rebate coupon, but have not received my refund check yet. When will I get it?
Please expect 8–10 weeks for delivery of your refund check.

I am eligible for the special rebate program but have not received a rebate coupon yet. What should I do?
The majority of the rebate coupons have been mailed. If you have not received your coupon yet, we have set up an online form to expedite the process. The form will ask you for standard name, address, and phone information. In addition:

bulletPlease indicate whether you acquired and registered PhotoDraw 2000 version 1, Office 2000 Premium, or Office 2000 Developer Edition in the Product Name field.

bulletPlease note CD Key in the
Authorization Key field. The CD Key can be found on the back of your PhotoDraw 2000, Office 2000 Premium, or Office 2000 Developer CD jewel case.

bulletPlease note the month of registration in the Additional Comments field.
To fill out the form, visit the registration page on the Microsoft site. This form must be completed by April 30, 2000.

How can I verify that Microsoft received my registration?
There is no automated way for you to check on the status of your registration. If you registered your product prior to December 31, 1999, please fill out the online form noted above.

To fill out the form, visit the registration page on the Microsoft site. This form must be completed by April 30, 2000.

Is PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2 part of the Office 2000 Service Release 1 update?
No, PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2 is not part of the Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1) update; however, we incorporated PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2 into Office 2000 Premium at the same time we released SR-1. If you acquire the full Office 2000 Premium SR-1 product, PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2 will be included.
